postheadericon Cleanse Your Bowels Regularly To Avoid Pain

I was 44 years old, reasonably fit and quite active. I had an office job at the NHS, but a reasonably active life outside of that, spending as much time as I could walking the hills or exploring the cold clear waters of the North Sea. Constipation was a problem that happened to old people – not me. Life was good, but things were about to change.

There is no ‘nice’ way of saying this. Passing solids was getting ever more difficult and the resulting matter was often very hard, with fresh blood present. Eerily I noticed I could feel hard parts of my bowels through the wall of my stomach. My GP (family doctor) arranged an examination by a consultant who referred me for a sphigmoidoscopy. The only untoward results were two ‘diverticulae’, small balloon like protrusions which were most unlikely to have caused the pain. The Movicol I’d been given did clear me out and gave me a few days relief for which I was very grateful.

I got my dietary house in order, cutting out the junk and emphasising green vegetables and roughage. Despite some hard stools and an occasional bleed things seemed to be going well. Then, one day at my desk I was hit by the most severe internal pain. It was literally like being stabbed. I was put in a wheelchair and rushed to A and E. I remember biting down hard on a pillow to suppress the pain in front of three student nurses. I was soon X-rayed and the imagery revealed possible compaction. I was put on a strong laxative to loosen the compaction.

I knew I had to act there and then. The thought of that happening again really worried me – it practically ruled out diving until I had it under control. I knew I couldn’t just stay on laxatives indefinitely. My research soon revealed that colon cleansing and detoxification was an area where great progress had been made. The amount of waste that could build up and the things that could live in it were a revalation. One important aspect was the benefit of so called ‘friendly’ bacteria which would out-compete and displace many of the unfriendly ones. The product that looked the most promising was Bowtrol Colon Cleanser.

I wasn’t expecting instant results with the Bowtrol. There were signs on the third day, but it was only on the fourth day that it took effect and boy did it take effect! I should tell you now that, if you are going to start taking Bowtrol you need to be prepared for dramatic results. You might be well advised to take a few days off work if you work in close confines as you may end up very unpopular with your colleagues! Fortunately a hospital has lots of WCs hidden in seldom visited places.

In a few days things were back to normal – or normal as it had been a few years previously. It was blissful! I really felt a new spring in my step. There are a lot of other products out there of which I’ve tried a few with mixed, but mostly positive results. However, the confidence that my initial use of Bowtrol Colon Cleanser gave me meant I have always returned to that product.
