At The Art of Dance Academy, we are skilled in bringing the positive and joyous aspects of the total artistic experience to life! Dance brings out your inner light and teaches us ways to communicate using our bodies as an instrument of expression.
This starts with your child’s very first step of creative movement. When you see your son or daughter wiggle and giggle to the music consider the possibility of it leading to that dance scholarship for college. At our school we are here for you, through every exciting part of this memorable journey. By learning the performing arts, your child increases their self- confidence and personal growth.
Further, we teach our children that they have been given a gift and it is their mission to share this gift with the community. We strengthen their moral development through our guided mentorship program. Very often, we are asked to perform at local nursing homes in the special needs community. The delight our dancers exude on stage as they shine in their sparkling light is an unforgettable sight to behold.
Your child will have this opportunity two times throughout the year as we perform Nutcracker in the winter and our full theatrical concert in the spring. Your child will develop a growing awareness of courtesy and self-control through team participation, improvement of leadership ability, self-esteem, and appreciation for the cultural arts. To put it simply, Dance is a lot of fun!
This is partially due to the fact that we listen to our children and with that in mind, we celebrate a warm, caring, nurturing and loving environment focused on allowing our children the freedom of self-expression. And we listen to our parents! Our carefully designed program has age-appropriate skills and challenges within a progressive, syllabus-based curriculum. The instruction is practiced in a degreed faculty with a professional course of study for those wanting to make dance their life.
